6'6" Ashland guard Zander Carter led all scorers last night as his Tomcats faced off against 7' Malachi Moreno and the GC Warhawks.
Carter put on a show attacking the rim with authority. Carter scored at will at all three levels while playing out of position at PG. In a game that featured some high-level Division 1 talent, Carter was the star of the night.
The Warhawks needed OT to put Ashland away. The Tomcats were without two players who had started for their last two Sweet 16 appearances. Both should be back in a few weeks.
