Spent all day at the splash pad and my baby had so much fun. Just have to get through one more week of work until we get to go on summer adventures everyday for two whole months βοΈ
Being a first year teacher, teaching during a pandemic, teaching while being a full-time grad student, teaching while being pregnant, etc. None of that compares to how draining this school year has felt π° Iβm really hoping these last 8 days fly by
My baby has officially entered the falling out and temper tantrum phase and Lord Jesus π I just Iook at him and say let me know when youβre done π€·π½ββοΈπ
Iβve had people make comments about βwasting moneyβ taking a baby/toddler out of town when they wonβt remember it. And while he may not remember it, I will, and he has SO much fun in the moment, and heβll have lots of pictures to look back on in the future
One of my favorite things as a mom so far is to make special memories with my baby every single holiday, no matter how big or small the holiday is β€οΈ
Itβs currently 8:30am, and Iβm staring at my baby peacefully asleep waiting for him to wake up. I canβt wait until those Christmas mornings when heβs waking me up at the butt crack of dawn πβ€οΈ
@court_2times Chile, pre-baby teacher Court would come home from work and take a nap, and eat some popcorn for dinner if I was lazy. This whole taking care of other peopleβs kids and then coming home and being a real adult and a mom to a clingy baby is exhausting ππ
