Last Friday we acquainted ourselves @subugoe with some anonymous fragments & @FragmentariumMS. First experience down the fragmentology rabbit hole => I♥️🐰! Can’t reveal details (yet), but it involved a 14th-century Latin text with hexameters *hint*hint*😉 #PalaeographySchool23
Dabbled a bit with creating critical editions in TEI-XML. Focusing on a short Latin hymn we compared 3 witnesses and created a simple apparatus & stemma (although the last one has some minor readability glitches) #PalaeographySchool23
I continued with yesterday's palaeographic struggle and learned a lot (again). If you have questions about Roman Cursive: please don't contact me. Merovingian Gaul scripts, on the other hand, I can sort of deal with. #PalaeographySchool23
First steps into the world of palaeography with Capital & (Half-)Uncial scripts. I had fun struggling with my transcription of Cod. Sang. 1395 (why couldn't he just close his a's like a normal person🙄?!) --> https://t.co/YbcVHjW1ra #PalaeographySchool2023
Day 1 I followed the introductory workshop of @joewett @GermaniaSacra & Johanna Störiko on Semantic Web and Linked Open Data in Historical Sciences
