I've started a new job just a couple weeks ago with my main focus on NBA, NHL & MLB, meaning my direct attention towards the Chicago Sky and WNBA is on pause.

Will I be covering them this summer? TBD at the moment. When I know, you'll know

The Chicago Sky will open the season on the road against the Portland Fire on May 9 at 8 pm.

Their home opener isn’t until May 20 when they welcome in the Dallas Wings at 8 pm

Reminder: there still is no CBA. So still waiting to see if this schedule changes

The WNBA saga continues…

If an agreement is not come to by the beginning of February, this season is going to look so wildly different than any other season. A shortened offseason that will cram HUGE moves will be exciting but also detrimental for some franchises….

A day after the WNBA Draft Lottery, the Chicago Sky announce the addition of Latricia Trammel to Tyler Marsh's coaching staff as an assistant coach.

Trammel was the HC of Dallas from '23-'24 and most recently was a special assistant for Lynne Roberts in LA for the 2025 season

The Chicago Sky have a 5.5% chance at landing the No. 1 overall pick for the 2026 WNBA Draft

They’ll find out on Sunday, Nov. 23 in the 2026 WNBA Draft Lottery at 5:30 CT on ESPN

The WNBA Draft is set for April 13, 2026

NEWS: Gary, IN native and 2-time WNBA Champion Dana Evans will receive some love from her hometown later this month.

She will be receiving the Key to the City on October 30. More details on the event to come later

The subsidization also ties in with how Title IX is written which causes more issues
