Explain something to me. The US Open broadcast ran over and over a message instructing everyone to get a Covid vaccine this fall. It ended that "no one has time for the 19," implying that the vaccine protects against infection, which it does not. At the end of the message in tiny print was the words Moderna, which also sponsored the US Open.

I don't understand the rules here but this was clearly an advertisement masquerading as a public-service announcement. How is Moderna exempt from the usual requirement to list all the possible downsides of the product and the urge to see your doctor first? How is it that Moderna can do this without consequence?
