Just had a White-letter Hairstreak land on my patio table in a rather tree less housing estate in Great Dunmow. Amazing!

Amwell NR - popped into Amwell this afternoon and had a Lesser Emperor from the boardwalk at Hollycross.
It showed well over the central pool a number of times before the sun went in.

1 Broad-bodied Chaser, 3 Four-spotted Chaser and 2 Norfolk Hawker.

@AmwellBirding A pair of Barn Owls can be seen regularly at Amwell at dawn and dusk throughout the year. At the moment Hollycross and the field to the North is more reliable than the viewpoint but that can change at any time.
