I have seen your comments and I have seen your concerns. But this is my story.
I do not expect you to understand or sympathize. That is not what I am looking for. What I want to do is raise awareness.
Initially, when this happened to me, I thought I was cursed or something lmao😂
I had been so quiet about it for so long that, to an extent, I think it was eating me up. For a long time, I felt like I was the only person experiencing something like this.
But ever since those two interviews, quite a number of young women and mothers have reached out to me with similar, if not the same, experiences. Some were confused and looking for answers and solutions, just like I was years ago. Some didn’t even know that what they were experiencing had a name until I spoke out, and are now beginning to ask questions and seek answers.
And this is weirdly comforting to me, as I’m sure it is for them too. I see them, and they see me. And that is a very wholesome feeling in itself🤍
I’m grateful that I can be a point of contact for women searching for answers or simply looking for someone who understands. If sharing my story helps someone feel less alone or take the first step toward finding answers, then I’m glad I chose to speak.
I intend to be an advocate for these kinds of issues women experience, so that the girl child does not feel unseen🌸
“Since the inception of Ghanaian music, no artist has worked harder than Stonebwoy in promoting and pushing the Ghanaian brand.”
—Entertainment analyst and artist manager, Bulldog, has commended Stonebwoy for his recent show in London and his continued efforts to promote Ghanaian music on the international stage.

I’m going to say something controversial, but my fellow artists need to hear this
PLEASE DISINFECT THE MIC BEFORE YOU PUT YOUR MOUTH ON IT!
We go from show to show sharing microphones with God knows how many people. Everyone is singing, talking, breathing and sometimes literally putting their mouths on the mic! Then after shows, some of us come home feeling sick. 🤧I honestly think artists should start carrying a small microphone safe disinfectant/sanitizing spray or wipes in their bags and clean the mic before performing. And if you can afford it, maybe it’s time to start bringing your own microphone to shows.
I’m not saying every sickness after a show comes from a microphone, but with so many people sharing the same equipment, why not take precautions?
My fellow colleagues, please let’s start taking this seriously. Your health first. Disinfect your mic before you perform.✌️🙈🙏🏾
Unfortunately I haven’t been able to tell the detailed story because of time constraints on shows. So I want to do a YouTube series, about like maybe 4 videos trying my best to explain into details.
My own story, my own pace just… opening up.
Wow… 💔 Yaa Bitha opens up about the most traumatic surgeries she has ever endured. Her heartbreaking experience is truly difficult to hear. 😢
