Important update.

Firstly, apologies for the lack of communication and updates, I've been snowed under.

Secondly, for personal reasons, I've had to take the decision to cancel this year's Coventry WNBR.

Horrible to see. Hopefully this driver will be more careful in the future when he's released from prison. There are still too many incidents on our streets involving careless drivers. We desperately need more and better cycling infrastructure.

#OpTriton | This is the horrifying moment a cyclist was sent spinning into the air when she was hit by a driver who pulled out in front of her.

The cyclist, 71, suffered a bleed on the brain and broken bones.

The driver's now been jailed.

This is not a decision I've taken lightly and it's not what I wanted to happen.

WNBR London has been alerted to the risk of a disruptive demonstration in Victoria Park tomorrow (10th June 2023). We are unable to provide a start in the park this year. Tower Hamlets Council has asked that riders start from Tower Hill instead. Other alternative starts include Wellington Arch and Deptford. We are greatly saddened by this but safety comes first. We thank the council for their assistance. Please share this announcement.

Well, it's been a bit quiet around here for far too long.

We're now kicking into gear again and can confirm that the #Coventry #WNBR will be returning in 2023!

Wanted for assault!
Do you recognise this man? He was one of two individuals riding high-powered electric bikes in the Earlsdon area of #Coventry who attacked the WNBR, assaulting two marshals and leaving one of them with a serious injury. Any info gratefully received.
