@Poodle_YT This is super helpful. Just posted in the EA forums on this, but it makes sense. I think they can do a better job of introducing this into the game for clarity. Thank you kind sir!
The CFB 27 dynasty deep dive blog is 16,469 words. That is 32 pages single spaced. Not once was anything mentioned about adding microtransactions or removing coach progression XP.
Here's what they did say though:
"...the mindset that has driven this mode since day one: 'Satisfy the Core Community' because 'This is THEIR Game.'
That belief is not just something we say. It shows up in the way this team debates details, responds to feedback, studies how Dynasty is played, and keeps pushing to make the experience deeper, more authentic, and more rewarding over time. It shows up in the headline features, the smaller quality-of-life improvements, and the countless decisions that players may not always see individually, but will feel across the course of a Dynasty."
Just something to keep in mind for future releases. #cfbplaydontpay
@ChrisVannini His name is Cam Weber, President/Chief Studio Officer at EA.
Chris, you have far more reach than us common people. There are thousands of us supporting this movement - start with that guy. We need answers directly from these suits!
@bordeauxyoutube@EASPORTSCollege Why are we referring to these people as “decision makers” or “execs”, etc..
We should be calling these execs out directly!
Cam Weber was the president of EA Sports and is now the Studio head. This 10000% came top down starting with this guy. He is the epicenter of this BS.
@collegeballgg@EASPORTSCollege This is is fantastic work.
But why aren’t we calling these execs out directly? Cam Weber was the president of EA Sports and is now the Studio head. This 10000% came top down starting with this guy.

It’s also the overall NIL cost with a huge supply/demand issue. Three star prospects can cost almost 100pts more than a Star dev trait 84 OVR DJ Lagway, as an example. Small schools can’t afford the 3-stars so they fight over all of the two stars prospects. Then go empty handed at the end of the season when they sign elsewhere. WAY too many 4 stars go completely unsigned because the demand can’t afford them, while the lack of supply of 2-stars leave inefficient, empty rosters for small schools.
@CJohns0n_@CFBDirect@EASPORTSCollege Great question, I would assume online dynasties would see the update right away. Offline would likely not, or I think there is a delay until the end of the month. Not entirely sure though.
@Joshburkss@CFBDirect@EASPORTSCollege I saw this, but at the same time we have to continue pushing this issue until it's fixed. Too vague of an update IMO.
CFB 27 recruiting is so broken. After one year the issue starts, by the third year it’s obvious, and if you manage to get to 2030 or 5 years in - it’s over. K/Ps are the best player on every small school. Big schools recruiting the same positions. It’s so bad.
@CFBDirect if this doesn’t sum up what is WILDLY broken about the recruiting in CFB 27, I don’t what else to tell you. This needs to be fixed before the official release. Entering 2030 season…
