With many countries winding down on testing, now seems a good time for this account to wind down too. Therefore I have stopped collecting data after April 3rd 2022 and over the next week I will publish a short report on each country in Europe (in alphabetical order).

Whichever way you cut it, Bulgaria has done by far the worst of any European country in this pandemic. Interesting that this hasn't been reported more.
A lot of countries seem to have massively undercounted their Covid deaths. Serbia and Albania in particular have huge discrepancies between their official rates and excess rates. Same with Bulgaria but they have the highest official and highest excess.
