Midnight Run (1988) is one of the greatest comedies ever made. Every argument between De Niro & Charles Grodin just keeps getting funnier. Also this dropped right in the middle of De Niro’s crime-drama run & reminded everyone how great his comic timing was
The Breakfast Club (1985) ending with Don’t You (Forget About Me) blasting while Bender throws his fist in the air is one of the most iconic final shots of the entire ‘80s.
“In My Darkest Hour” - Megadeth
Written in a single sitting on the day Dave Mustaine learned about Cliff Burton’s death, the music was directly inspired by Cliff’s passing and the pain Dave felt upon learning about it. https://t.co/qOvbPF91PD
37 years ago: The most famous pre-match warm up in football history. Diego Maradona nonchalantly doing keepy ups before a Napoli match with 'Live is Life’ playing in the background.
Rodney Dangerfield: "With cigarettes, my wife and I, we made a deal. We only smoke after sex. I've got the same pack now since 1975. What bothers me is my wife. She's up to three packs a day."
One of the greats.
@EddieTrunk Not just concerts. Sporting events and movies as well. And these events aren't cheap. Why pay $$$ to spout nonsense to your friends? Stay home.
Maher: “The president had the constitutional authority to direct the use of military force because he could reasonably determine that such use of force was in the national interest.”
Schiff: “Totally vague.”
Maher: “That’s from Obama about Libya.”

Super Sky Point to Davey Lopes, who had a big role in my formative years as a baseball fan. As with many other stars of the era, I pretended I was him in Wiffle Ball games and gleefully pulled his 3-D cards from boxes of Frosted Flakes. A multi-faceted, winning ballplayer. #RIP
"just wasn't enough time, michael."
The Godfather (1972), Vito admitting it all in one quiet line, a lifetime of power and still feeling like it slipped through his hands.
The Dodgers’ lineup tonight is absolutely loaded. As a team, they’re hitting around .300… I’m talking both righties and lefties. This is the best Dodgers team I’ve ever seen.
