I haven't spoken about it here but anyone who is on my insta knows...one of my bestest friends here in Houston and the person who introduced me to every friend and mutual I know here...passed away suddenly.
I have a big 2 day event this weekend where we were supposed to be booth neighbors and had so much cooked up.
We talked about raising our kids together and taking over the Houston bookish WORLD.
So idk. I'm kind of all over the place and will try to just keep their memory alive with the things they loved and books they insisted everyone read. This will be a great and terrible weekend all at once and idk if I'm ready to go at this alone again

Changed out my laptop battery. Seems a bit swollen. 👀

The new battery is working. Glad I got to it before it popped. As soon as I loosened the screws, it popped the cover off.

Now to power cycle. 🥲

Come Wednesday I’ll try my hand at replacing my laptop’s internal battery.

I noticed the front of my laptop was separated the other day. Just thought I had dropped it and not noticed. However, the internal battery has started swelling. $32 battery swap versus $1500+ new laptop.
