I'm not a doctor, but it prob couldn't hurt to make sure her electrolytes are kept in check.

When mine are out of whack I use 2 pks of Emergen-C and I'd feel fine for the rest of the day.

I say this bcuz my symptoms were the same as hers & a box of 30 are a cheap experiment.
