@aaron_j_fc@HelpUs32@BillSimmons I love your list and have all of these guys in very similar spots. However, I will go to the grave advocating for Wade over Harden. You need to flip those!
@LaneJatzlau@Ernie_Perez@jasonwhitlock Unfortunately the OP wonโt argue with you so I would like you to explain how this is NOT an egregious false equivalency. One person was treated unfairly for fighting against injustice (Kaep) and the other was punished for promoting injustice (Kyrie) seems very different
@jasonwhitlock In the interest of learning can you explain how these are the same situations? Kaep was treated unfairly while standing up for injustice. Kyrie is spreading hate and promoting injustice (antisemitism) so Iโm not sure how they are similar situations in any regard
@ReyBrutal@TomHoefWrites@JeterHadNoRange Legitimate question here because I just do not understand it. If a power hitter hitting a dribbler single is a bad thing then why are walks so valuable? Because is a walk that different than a single?
@MikeLupica Have you ever considered partnering with Disney or "insert streaming service" to make your books into movies? At 25 years old, I would be first in line to see Travel Team or Miracle on 49th street as a movie. There are tons of kids who deserve that experience as well!
@ReceDavis Both will be conference champions. If Costal Carolina was Colorado, they would be clearly ahead of Iowa State. It's frustrating that the committee blatantly ignores power five teams. Iowa State should definitely be behind Cincinnati too
@ReceDavis Next time you talk about the rankings can we please get an explanation for why Iowa State is ahead of Costal Carolina? Costal is 10-0 to Iowa State's 8-2. Both teams have 2 ranked wins. Costal beat their common opponent while Iowa state lost by 17.
@MikeLupica
With Teen movies surging in popularity on streaming sites, I think itโs time some of your work becomes movies. I would pay to watch Travel Team or Miracle on 49th street. You could make some kids a star with those stories.
This is why history needs to be representative! It isn't about political correctness. Students need connections. If they don't see themselves represented, they aren't connected. #MichED https://t.co/ObWTEZra70
A6: Instead of "passing the class," think of it as earning credit; mastery of the outcomes becomes the benchmark, not task completion. Passing is a minimum number assigned to a task; credit is earned through growth & learning #satchat
@chrisclinewcps A4: Also, I find that given students agency and allowing them to take ownership over a problem or lesson and presenting it goes a long to encourage even the quiet students to take risks. They need to be guided during this process, but with ownership they will thrive #satchat
@chrisclinewcps A4: My favorite saying "confusion is the sweat of learning" is in my classroom. The analogy relates training your brain to working out other muscles. It tells my students that embracing the unknown and taking risks is an integral part of the learning process. #satchat
@chrisclinewcps A3: Finding real world problems that create realistic conversations is my goal for every lesson. When students are discussing tangible ideas such optimizing a distance or amount of wire in a situation, it is more authentic than and the students are open about this #satchat
@chrisclinewcps Open ended questions and investigative practices so students need to learn and apply what they are investigating and no longer just emulate what was done in front of the classroom #satchat
