@JulieAn14628747@SAHealth@marshall_steven@PictonChris@StephenWadeMLC@kymaher @Malarndirri19 @LindaBurneyMP @ShelleyWare I am aware of that once given all the clear and ready to go all patients transferred to the Medi Hotels are being returned home by SAHealth but if they instead decide to stay in Adelaide once finishing quarantine they are told that they will need to find their own way home.
MEDI HOTEL UPDATE. There has been significant changes made.. My granny was moved to the Pullman Medi Hotel late on Monday. She has since had phone consults with a mid wife and Dr. She had lamb shanks and veggies for dinner and a nice bath before bed. She is doing ok. β€οΈππΎπ₯°
NOW what needs to happen is to ensure that Aboriginal patients in the Medi hotel are provided with both personal heath care and covid health care that they deserve and that they are transported back to home by SAHealth
Aboriginal peoples individual health and well-being will deteriorate further in these places and this is not even addressing how to care for yourself when you have Covid-19. The photo below is the breakfast for an expectant mother at the Toms Court Medi Hotel Adelaide.
The other Medi Hotel at Pullman provides 3 meals as a day for their patients. These Medi Hotels are not culturally inclusive, language inclusive and do not provide chronic health care for people with diabetes, drug and alcohol, heart disease, babies and expectant mothers.
