⚠️ Update on Home Flooding Situation

Hi guys! As you already know or not, my home flooded on July 1st from a severe storm and I unfortunately did suffer quite a lot in damages to my own things, including; an ipad, a decent amount of electronics, vinyl collectables and my bed. My PC located in the flooded room likely survived, but I can't test it until I buy a new power cord. The flooding occurred due to the storm drains backing up into my home, it unfortunately affected my entire street and about 1500 others.

The current situation is positive though, later today someone from the city should be coming by to help drain the remaining water and inspect the damages, I do have electricity now and I'm focusing on safely cleaning and drying as many things as possible before they arrive. At this current point, roughly $700 has been spent on supplies and sleeping arrangements.

Streams however will pause for however long it'll take to dry and sanitize a sewage saturated carpet (likely getting a new carpet installed) and getting settled back into normalcy. I'm optimistic it shouldn't take too long, maybe a week at most.

I'm not one to ask for help and considering I recently had a subathon in February and just finished raising money for charity, it wouldn't be reasonable for me to start another subathon/donothon so soon. If you would like to help offset some of the costs and bills I have this month it would be incredibly appreciated, but never required.
