Sony sent a private message to publishers and partners about physical discs, cite8’g a consumer shift🚀

The statement included an explicit term that, after Jan 2028, partners will still be able to place re-orders for existing PlayStation disc games.

Meaning:

✅Games released after January 2028 will be digital only

✅Games released before January 2028 will can still be released on disc and are unaffected

What's the point in having the PS5 disc model? Gonna buy loads of single player games from @Cex for the future after my access to the @PlayStationUK + catalogue runs out because it's way too expensive to renew my current level of membership. Least they'll have good reviews!
