@EmilyShieldsCSU I 100% agree with this. I think it's really important to not sweat the small things and just enjoy the moment---I've been trying to do more of that recently.
Throughout college I have learned how important it is to put yourself out there. There are so many different ways to network and having a friendly conversation with a stranger can be the first step to helping your career!

@DeanteJohnsonJr I think that’s a really powerful statement. “Friends” come and go but the ones who are in it for the long haul will find a way to stick around.
I would tell my high school self to enjoy the journey. I oftentimes overthink things which can take me out of the moment. I would remind myself to enjoy the freedom of being a young person and say yes to every opportunity afforded to me. #CSUCOM464#growth
I would love to travel to the future to see an era where space travel is accessible. I've always felt like our galaxy was enigmatic and I think it would be eye-opening to be able to travel in-between planets and other galaxies alike.

2/2 part of me is coming to terms with the idea of losing part of my identity, while also learning to prioritize the things that truly matter. It’s a hard thing to realize that you truly have to do what’s in your best interest.
1/2 One of my biggest challenges has been overcoming this concussion. Struggling not only mentally but watching my body dwindle physically has affected me in more ways than I can explain. #mentalhealth#csucom
@courtney_byrnes I'm right there with ya! I think it's extremely important to open your mind and heart to things of the unknown. I believe it helps us become better well-rounded individuals.
Week 11: I think I would work hard to show simple acts of kindness often--finding little ways to make others days better. I would also spend my free time traveling to different parts of the world in hopes to open my mind to opinions and cultures other than my own.

Being from out of town I haven’t done too much exploring in Cleveland, but some of my favorite places to go are the pier, Edgewater (in the summer) and E. 4th. When I first visited Cleveland I thought E. 4th was magical with the snow underneath the canopy lights. #CSUCOM464#CLE
Throughout High School I neglected Halloween and rarely planned what I was going as which I regret, however, last year I went as a Bratz Doll which was a lot of fun! Definitely one of my favorite costumes to date. #CSUCOM464#bratz#doll
@AubreyBechter I loved Marylin and truly idolized her as a little girl. I always thought she had so much personality...true beauty inside and out. I think she did much more for women's rights than people give her credit for.
If there's one person I could sit down at a meal with, it would be Steve Erwin. I would discuss where his love for animals and the environment came from, and what he wishes society would better understand about the planet. #CSUCOM464
@EmilyShieldsCSU Haha my parents would never trust me with a knife so unfortunately I’ve never carved a pumpkin. Might have to give it a try this year 🤪
