So frustrated. At every RQ I’ve played, I was told that if I play Flurry of Blades first and then Elder Dragon, my opponent’s units die immediately and they don’t get a chance to respond with hidden cards. I’ve literally done this multiple times on feature matches under that ruling.
Now, while playing for something like $20k, I’m being told the exact opposite: that they CAN respond with hidden cards because Elder Dragon puts a “deal 1 damage to one unit” trigger at each location.
My opponent had exactly one unit at each battlefield. Those units should die to Elder Dragon’s static ability, yet apparently they can still respond to the Dragon targeting… nothing?
So which is it? Have all the previous events been ruled incorrectly, or did the ruling change? Because finding this out in the middle of a huge event with this much money on the line is fucking infuriating.
The rules and inconsistent rulings in this game are easily one of the most frustrating parts of playing it competitively.
Beyond tilted.

Here’s a rare clip of Deku and Bakugo working TOGETHER! 🙌 And if you think this is crazy, just wait until you see the rest of the movie.

Hello, we tried to get into the #LCS venue last night, but for some reason couldn't enter. We felt this kind of "zone" or something coming from a mysterious thomas kench. Everytime we tried to walk up, his presence was just too much.
