Cryo Archive is so freaking cool. I made it to Compiler today, but we didn't finish. This is why it boggles my mind people hate this game so much, because it's genuinely one of the coolest levels I can remember. It almost feels like an arcade game - it's so fire if you're wearing headphones. I feel like when people complain about this game, obviously they haven't been playing it. This is one of the coolest first person shooter games I've ever played. It's so much fun. Getting to Compiler is so weird and psychedelic. It defies all logic of what I know about how to enjoy video games, that people proactively want to destroy this game. It's so frustrating, because anyone who's made it that far, damn well knows how COOL it is, yet there are legions of people swearing up and down the game is bad. They're either naive, or they're gaslighting you.
