More fabric characters created today @TheMill_TKAT Reflecting on who supported us during the pandemic, two Year 3 children drew each other as during lockdown they regularly spoke to each other by phone because 'they are best friends' and it helped to 'keep happy'.

We kick started 2022 @TheMill_TKAT by making fabric figures for our hanging installation Stay At Home, due to be installed at Crawley Museum 31st January. After all this hard work it feels great that the reveal date is finally in sight!
We are storming ahead with our #StayAtHome hanging installation @TheMill_TKAT ; it will be installed in @CrawleyMuseum 31st January - that suddenly doesn't seem so far away and we've still got loads to do!

The houses have been hand drawn and then sewn over using free machine embroidery 🏠🏡🏘
@TheMill_TKAT we carried on with our Cityscape work today - reflecting on the fact that we can live in all sorts of buildings, from houses to flats and skyscrapers!
Year 5 @TheMill_TKAT carried on with our experiments in perspective drawing this week - our display is under way with some beautiful mixed media work alongside prints.
We’re thinking of a special name for our cityscape!
Today @TheMill_TKAT Year 3 worked on mixed media street scenes, learning how to create buildings using perspective in their drawings.

Back to school! @TheMill_TKAT we're busy preparing for an exhibition we'll be taking part in at Crawley Museum; today we've been making stitched portraits of our homes. If you look carefully, each home has been hand drawn and then stitched using free machine embroidery.

Year 4 enjoyed a day of 'pick n mix' activities that included sewing and hand painting cushions, graffiti and drawing.
We said goodbye to Year 6 - they will be sorely missed but we wish them well in their new adventures 🤩🥳
Year 5 & 6 @TheMill_TKAT helped to put the finishing touches to our animated 'Pupils' Pandemic' animations this week; we'll be proud to share them when the time comes.
