Painter Kristoffer @Zetterstrand , who made the original @minecraft pixel paintings, let us make non pixelated versions for @aminecraftmovie . Set dressers used elements of his actual oil paintings. This one is from a piece he did in 2009 called “Moonlight Installation”.

Developer's note on the potion color changes: we recognize that this change is not going to improve the readability for all color blindness. A real solution is to make individual potion textures for each type, but for now we're just doing this small fix until we have capacity

Find suspicious sand blocks near desert temples and start shoveling. Using the brush tool, reveal hidden items including pottery shards. Put four shards together to create a pot!

I think some mob votes, like the Allay, split builder and redstone community votes. I think the LGBT+ tumblr vote was heavily moobloom but some of us voted for glow squid! It’s interesting to see what happens every year! Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Felix! #MinecraftLive

I read some of the past Minecraft vote blog posts…
Obviously it wasn’t all kids who voted for the glow squid. There were plenty of adults like myself who were drawn to it for lots of reasons! I don’t regret my choice and they complement the C&C update so well by adding life! 💙

I 100% agree in how adding more details to one mob tilts the scales and I think Felix brought up a good solution in the blog posts. I just wanted to add some insight from my communities on how we viewed the mobs!
