Article says: “As Canada faces crippling debt, it must do the unpopular thing and cut elderly benefits.”

Her response?

“These are the ones who paid the taxes in this country for how many years… the ones who have defended this country through our military.”

Instead of cutting seniors, how about stopping the immigration spending, the money we ship overseas, and the “lavish meals our prime minister spends upon himself”?

Here’s what the next decade, decade-and-a-half, or even the next five years could look like:

- Home ownership? Only for the rich kids who inherit it. Hard work won’t cut it anymore.
- Upward mobility? Almost unheard of. Most young Canadians will never build a better life than their parents.
- Groceries, rent, bills — so expensive people might literally start hunting, fishing, and foraging on public land just to eat.
- Inequality explodes. Renters vs owners becomes a permanent class war.
- Young people give up on university because it no longer guarantees shit.
- Mental health crisis worsens. Demand for social services skyrockets.
- People lose faith in the entire Canadian project and start emigrating to places where the dream still exists.

This isn’t some right-wing fever dream. This is the Liberal government’s own report.

Pierre Poilievre warned us before the election. They didn’t listen.

Now we’re staring down the barrel of a broken, hopeless Canada.

This is exactly why we need CHANGE — and we need it yesterday.
