@AdrianaLaGrange My rheumatological meds, prescription antihistamines, neurological meds are are definitely not covered through blue cross. So I call BS
Very irresponsible to make this decision without consulting with Albertans first.
@doodlydoo19@GosiaGasperoPhD 2 of my kiddos got the bivalent booster at the end of November, we caught it a few weeks ago and they had very very mild symptoms for 2 days compared to our youngest who had the regular booster was sick for 10 days. I recommend the bivalent
@thunenworks @jvipondmd It is the worst imaginable fear and heartache seeing your child having respiratory distress. My son got H1N1 as a newborn and was in NICU for 2 weeks, now has chronic lung problems. He wears a Kn95 at school which has fortunately prevented getting any virus this year so far. ๐ค
@Welchs@alissagalissa Disappointed with the change. They are gummier and have a horrible taste. Used to be a family favorite snack now it's nothing special that unfortunately tastes similar to Motts @WelchsFruitSnck
@AndrewKnack It's unacceptable that our government has normalized these deaths and over capacity in our hospitals. They have sent a strong message to the public. That COVID is no longer a threat. The misinformation and normalizing our situation unfortunately will cost 1000s of Albertans lives
@rtaylor_work @jvipondmd@jkenney Not too surprising...if we stop testing, tracing, reporting, and monitoring, it gives people the illusion that COVID is over. He's already gotten rid of testing, tracing, half ass reporting, next step is elimination of monitoring viral spread. Ignorance is bliss ๐คฆ
@jvipondmd Half of my daughter's class is coughing and not wearing masks not even the teachers. She is the only one wearing a Kn95. She told me she doesn't feel comfortable in the school anymore. We have been fortunate to not have caught it yet but feeling like our days are numbered.
@jvipondmd@edyong209 Thank you for posting this. Myself and 2 of my young kids are immunocompromised. I've been homeschooling them up until Feb 1st to keep everyone healthy and safe. Now with the removal of masks in schools, I'm beyond worried. /
@AbAgainstKenney@SOSAlberta We will be there!! Seeing the pictures of the turn out brought some tears on. Truly amazing what you're all doing. Thank you
@AbAgainstKenney@SOSAlberta So proud of you all for advocating for your community, friends, and loved ones. We wish we could've joined today, my kids were looking forward to it.
@wayneweum @RodFrank12 They play basketball, their teams wore masks. Without additional protective layer with an airborne virus it puts many at an increase risk of severe outcomes. During H1N1, my 4 week old son who is now immunocompromised was on a ventilator for 2 weeks.
@1984is2020@RodFrank12 COVID doesn't care what we want and will continue to thrive and mutate without any public health measures to protect and prevent further transmission, strains our health care system more, cause unnecessary loss of lives, delay surgeries. But we will all be living it up right? Lol
@1984is2020@RodFrank12 It's naive to think that by removing
Protective layers of masking, REP.... Creates the illusion that we will return to prepandemic life. We all want our lives back to normal as quickly as possible, however the situation we are in is not normal unfortunately.
@1984is2020@RodFrank12 Lol seriously? It's people like you that is what is wrong with our society. shaming vulnerable children and concerned parents...Protecting one another and preventing community transmission of a virus during a pandemic does not make one "oppressed".
