Following an assault in the Stoke South area. 2 suspects were located and arrested, PD Dan was tasked to search for a discarded weapon, but instead searched directly to the 3rd suspect’s front door who then joined his mates in custody!

Last night was PD Dan's first night shift! His handler had a vehicle fail to stop, the offending vehicle crashed and the driver ran away. PD Dan was tasked to find the offender. After a short search he was found hiding in a driveway! Welcome to the team Dan, Top job 🐾🐾👍👍

We are incredibly saddened to share that PD Kev from Staffordshire Police has sadly passed away, after falling unexpectedly ill earlier this week. 💔

PD Kev served as a general purpose and firearms support dog, licensed in 2018. During his career, he was nothing short of exceptional, tracking down countless criminals and giving his all to keep the public safe.

Our thoughts are with his handler, PC Neeson, who paid this moving tribute: "He taught me more than I ever taught him, and I'll miss him every day. 😪" RIP PD Kev, thank you for your loyal service. You may now stand down. 🌈🐾🚔🇬🇧
