@thebestiespod Similarly: it's going to be tough to find the joy in fighting games, 4X games, destiny 2, etc because those games are fundamentally about grinding mastery, either ingame stats or knowledge/execution. There are very few ways to shortcut that joy without changing it completely.

I also grew up playing Armored Core games, which were also made by From Software. They've always been so good at making crunchy, satisfying systems, even if they aren't everyone's cup of tea.

@thebestiespod Lost Kingdoms and Lost Kingdoms 2 are awesome. Even now, when everyone made a card game, Lost Kingdoms is a unique and way more creative take on card battle action games. Highly recommend. Also has WILD audio design for the music of 95% string instruments.
