@KingJohnUK @KingsCourtier I really hope this is true. I also hope that you will indeed end the tyranny & bring positive change in the form of peace, love, prosperity & fairness for all. The previous lot have hurt many a good soul. Much healing is required. Love & light is the only way. Best wishes :)
Ramsons are exploding onto the scene in many places. We've been gathering from this patch since mid-january. This lot is destined for the first fully, Ramson lacto-ferment of 2020 - added some to red cabbage & chipotle chilli ferment two weeks ago. Lovely Scarlet Elf Cups out 2
Himanthalia elongata or more commonly known as Sea Spaghetti. Super early & super cute growth. Great couple of days by the coast. Added some of the fresh Himanthalia to a dish I made for lunch - see image: #foraging#wildfood#seaweed
@ColinBrowning14 Shocking! I can't believe you didn't spend your British pounds on British prostitutes & British cannabis! Climb down Colin, you've been totally duped by Cummings, Johnson (American born), a bus et al 😅
@Countrymaned @chiffchat Thanks for the tag :) Sadly not many fungi photos or info on my website. Removed pages for editing years back & never republished...
@pgreenfielduk Re: the misleading article you published on the supposed 'complexities of mushroom foraging in the UK'. There's enough gutter journalism in the UK as it is. Accuracy & balance are key & no less than readers deserve: https://t.co/vEyP3G2z1x
Roll up, roll up! Genuine nonsense guaranteed to make u fume (& chuckle with gross irony!) @pgreenfielduk 's sensationally inaccurate portrayal of biodiversity loss via the gathering of wild fungi & (strangely) published by @guardian Pollution, agriculture, land loss = culprits
If Labour forms a government – minority or majority – it should invite the Greens’ @CarolineLucas to be environment secretary. My column. https://t.co/8QcAKiPEQI
@bruceparry A wholly inaccurate & misleading article which would be better placed in one of the generic, sensationalist format newspapers. Are you posting in jest or seriousness Bruce? You have many followers & sharing could deeply entrench the already defunct & misleading article content x
@pgreenfielduk What a misleading & incomplete, draft of nonsense! You've let the Guardian down on this one! Did you actually take due time to research the content for this article or just buddy up w/ the CotCoL? As for Mario Prati, where did you pluck him & his misleading nonsense from?
Fresh Mackerel, Soused in a hot, infused pickle: ACV, Spring Water, Sugar, Salt, Mugwort, Meadowsweet, Onion, Bay Leaf, Peppercorn & Isle of Mull Chillies 🔥 Served simply on brown bread with seaweed & chilli powder, lactofermented ramson flower heads & tomato #wildfood#foraging
@richmondie @Countrymaned @FolkloreThurs@DalesmanBooks@DeeDeeChainey Docks aren't poisonous in the way I think you think they are. They do contain oxalic acid which, in very large quantities isn't good for you. Onions & cabbages if eaten in large quantities have adverse effects on health & they are 2 common & staple foods. Research is a gd thing
@FGVWinfo@YorkshireWater@EnvAgencyYNE Eurgh! That's the beck buggered for a while. Doesn't surprise me the drains overflow, once upon a time the council cared & cleaned them, austerity eh, stuff the people, stuff the environment, how's my retirement fund...
