#FACupFinal I’m a fan of both Manchester teams, although I favor City, so a very exciting game!
Should have been a no-penalty on Grealish - his arm was moving naturally upward before the ball changed direction.
Correcting CM/S fee schedule for inflation is a great start. Here’s a couple other reforms that could be huge:
Insurances cannot determine medical necessity. Only i independent board of healthcare professionals should do that.
Elimination of networks.
US Healthcare providers have been exploited by insurances for their altruism, good faith for too long. We need a system that supports providers giving high quality care without financial or ethical dilemmas. https://t.co/4isUEYazVW
The fact that this gets posted every few months on physio twitter should tell us something. It’s one of the most common clinical syndromes and many haven’t even heard of it
We still don't know what the best set of discharge criteria for return to sport following ACLR is, but what we do know is that we need to do more than a Lachman Test, Pivot Shift Test and manual muscle testing.
A🧵 ..
@GregLehman@PatrickGorby Good points both ways on this. Is there any studies comparing the two directly? If so, please share links to them.
Anecdotally I’ve never seen a patient with LBP injured from rowing but a few injured during deadlifting so I can’t give any input on the rowing pts
@mickwhughes Good thread of info. I’m currently preparing a scoping review on cryotherapy 🤞. I discourage cryo. AMI is 1 of very few exceptions. Frequently or continuous (ex 20 min/hr) for any reason is likely less effective vs other methods at best, potentially harmful.
@timothywflynn Such greed is harming. There’s enough $$$ in US healthcare for win-win-win: for execs & business to make a very good profit & pay healthcare providers and employees better, & reduce costs to consumers. Reasonable checks/incentives must be put in place!
@AdamMeakins I don’t see specific analysis to determine if 1 leg vs 2 leg was more effective just that some studies included had either. I miss it? Can’t apply this to injured clients. I error on side of can’t resolve 1 limb problem fully with 2 limb training. Too much compensation possible

@marklaslett_NZ Couldn’t find if you’d answered this already recently- What’s your understanding for most specific and sensitive of the 5 tests for SIJ pain?
In my (unpopular) opinion, other than the final, World Cup games that draw at end of extended time should go to the team with better goal differential, tournament record, or qualifying record. Past performance should count for something.
