@GlobalismIsBad@ryangerritsen Never been on a plane in the last 20 years? I would assume not because you refuse to do business with companies that don’t use cash
@gilmcgowan You know the trans mountain pipeline was there already right? The project was just a huge upgrade. Also the project would have been done years prior without tax dollars had the government pushed it through. Now the return on investment will take way longer.
@KevinPa10511072@GuntherEagleman I thought it was about fentanyl? It’s not Canadians paying the tariffs, it’s the Americans paying it. That 100k truck is now 120k btw. Why is Kentucky upset about the bourbon being taken off the shelves?
@Proud_CA@CalltoActivism How is this paid contract that’s been in place since 1994 turning into a political thing? It’s a private business doing their job. Yes I am Canadian
@StefanGugumus@maxfawcett I believe Alberta and New Brunswick are the only provinces with a balanced budget currently. Also under Ralphy they paid off Alberta’s debt at one point. No province has done that. Once the cons lost power the province went broke. Been an uphill battle since
@homewithlu@DonPepitoAndy@JigglyPants44 The original tweet was about safe injection sites. Thats why I referenced heroin. I was just making a point that not all people that drink become addicts. The majority of people at injection sites are addicts though
@homewithlu@DonPepitoAndy@JigglyPants44 Stats show that 10% of people that consume alcohol are alcohol addicts . What percentage do you think of heroin users are heroin addicts?
@CherylBozarth@ABDanielleSmith That’s one days worth of invoices in one clinic. That’s the cost of a few surgeries in the ER. It’s a drop in the pail. The government have done way worse things then spend 250k on a trip to help avoid a trade war with our biggest buyer.
@kim_siever They need to teach people that the $800-1400 cpp pays right now isn’t going to be close to enough for anyone to retire. With the cost of living increases that cpp money isn’t going to cover much. That $3800 max from the employer is a drop in the pail and it’s taxed at payout time
@Frankie4Chords @magnifikat32@Rich_Cooper So they only balanced the budget 6 times in 33 years. How does the debt to GDP ratio look over the last 30 years? If you spend more than you make, even if you make trillions, is that a good thing? Has Ontario ever been debt free?
@FeralFawcett8 @Lyonm5@YourAnonCentral I originally got vaccinated so I was allowed to go out in public and eat at restaurants, go to hockey games, and travel. Now the science says we don’t need mandates so I haven’t been forced to get any vaccines. I just do as I’m forced to by my fearless leaders
@elonmusk And people think that they need guns to take down the government if needed. The governments have drones and lots of them. Good luck shooting down hundreds of thousands of drones coming at you
@Mikeggibbs When was the last time Mike Gibbs did anything for Canada? How many more millions has Mike Gibbs given to philanthropy than Wayne Gretzky? Mike Gibbs has done fuck all for Canada
@Sandy47005334@ABDanielleSmith You should do some research. Alberta has the highest paid doctors, nurses, and teachers in the country. Do you honestly think increasing minimum wage by $10 will benefit the lower class or make things more expensive?
@rodmickleburgh@BarbaraBur74132 The pipeline that will need 30 years to pay back what it cost to build? Why do all government projects cost 5 times as much as private enterprise? They should have never bought the pipeline. All they had to do was cut the tape to get it built.
@CraigCoolahan@ABDanielleSmith Not sure this is real, it shouldn’t be. But real question here, can you name your kid Fucker and they have to call it Fucker at school??
