@JohnCDavidson @CTVToronto They are not for profit organizations fund by fees and rent charged to the airlines and vendors as well as through the airport improvement fees. During covid travel was well below the norm. The money wasn't there to maintain most systems.

@BJWorthy3 @CTVToronto It's a belt system. They have been battling it for weeks. Lack of maintenance due to budgetary constraint and sourcing part is the reason for it. Next to no income for the airports the last 3 years, these things are going to happen as usage ramps up.
