Today we had some great visitors stop by the office. We had a Knox County school group come by and tour the capitol and it was so great to speak with them and see how excited they are to see our beautiful capitol!
I am proud to announce that we have just passed HB 2360 through the House, which adds to the list of professions whose families receive survivor benefits in the event of an on the job death. This bill will greatly help much needed professions and I was proud to carry it! #moleg
Today, a lot of great visitors came by my office. A class from Culver-Stockton College came down today to get a close up look at the political process, we had members of the Missouri Cattlemen's Association stop by, and we also had a visitor from the FCS Financial group stop by.
I kept very busy over Spring Break! I took my grand daughter to her dance class, taught a class period at @CSC1853, went to a @MOFarmBureau event, saw candidates at the Palmyra Dance, and best of all, I got to spend some good quality time with my grand kids!
I am proud to announce that with the help of the Budget Chairman, we were able to secure an additional $82 million in funding for new highway projects. This money was caught in bureaucratic red tape, and we were able to cut that and put the money where it will help Missouri!

great visitors come by our office. Members of the Missouri State Teachers Association and the @MOFarmBureau came by my office to visit about their legislative priorities. It was great to see the folks from back home!
Today was the public hearing for my Bill 2201, the Show Me Rural Jobs Fund. This bill will create a fund that awards grants to businesses moving to rural Missouri and then the business pays back the grant. This fund will bring jobs to rural Missouri without costing us money!
Yesterday evening I attended the Adair County Whitetails Unlimited event at the NEMO fair grounds. It was a lot of fun, they had some amazing hunting equipment up for raffle, and I was so proud to see them honor our veterans and youth!

Today we also had some visitors on behalf of the Missouri Farm Bureau. They were here advocating for rural Missouri and agriculture, focusing particularly on infrastructure and the development of rural broadband access. I’m proud to support this great group!
Today we had a visit from two members of a great organization. They were representing @AFLMO, which is a group that works to support pregnancy health clinics that offer care alternative to abortion. I am so proud to support this group and their legislative agenda!
