Had to share this PC gem. Pulled from a Caldor vending machine in the ‘80s for a few quarters, I feel fortunate that I didn’t peel this and stick it on my Trapper Keeper or locker! @CardPurchaser
@RichBcards@AbjCards I don’t think it’s 1988 Topps, like we saw from the base card madness for sports cards in 2021 that shut down PSA.
There’s definitely an influx of TCG at shows. Huge growth. I set up as a dealer from time to time, and it’s noticeable.
@BigShepsCards I don’t think that’s bad for the Pats at all.
They’ve got some offensive skill now, and are reshaping the line that was so blatantly exposed in the playoffs.
Maye’s window is now…glad they’re getting support for him.
Ripped a case of this when it was very affordable three years ago, figured it was my only shot at a Wemby auto (my kid ripped it, actually).
Still don’t think it was an 8 when I sent it in (figured it was a 9), but it’s still worth keeping, I’d say.
@GreekGreg@KylePorterNS I used to be a big March Madness pearl clutcher myself, but it’s faded a bit with me.
Porter’s just saying it’s one of the better weekends of the year. Nothing wrong with that.
Both tourneys can be fun, too. That’s okay.
@Graham_Couch I don’t think enough people understand the value of a good president. I’m glad you’re casting light on this. Great piece, crappy situation.
@CardsPolling Agreed! I got lucky, bought this one last year for a good price. With the low population of this one, figured it was worth sending in.
And with that glossy material, giving it a careful wipe down was worth it!
PSA…if you’re grading any eTopps, definitely take them out of the sealed one-touches and give a nice wipe-down instead of sending them as-is. Definitely helped with this one.
Print run of only 665.
