Making a marginal histogram of a map where you see the distribution along lat and long is much more doable now with map layers. I made one looking at pub locations in Scotland.

Over the last couple weeks I have built a Network map viz looking at what Wikipedia pages link to each other. Sort of like the Wiki-Links game. Its a very small snapshot of the full picture but pretty happy with how it turned out.
