@ericbrinkman @gitlab The ui element to create a merge request from an issue is the worst ui I have ever worked with. It continually overrides the branch name on every key press. If you type the new branch name first, it will ignore the from branch.

@eevblog The code logic, curve values and key are covered by nda with nxp so you can't do that check yourself; you can read the signature easily but not validate it. My company @GoToTags is building the check into our next version of desktop software...

@eevblog Note everyone misunderstands the originality signature. It ONLY tells you that nxp made that chip. You can then CHOOSE to trust that nxp wont produce chips with writable uids or with existing uids. All security is a trust chain and the originality signature is just the start.
