Craig Van Batenburg, CEO of ACDC. Former Repair Shop owner. Engaged full time in the understanding of hybrid, electric cars, trucks and EV motorcycles.
ACDC was in Boston today at a neighborhood park. We were with other community groups having fun and promoting sustainable transportation. To my left is Onix and to my right is Blake.
ACDC is back posting after many renovations to our Training Center. Our "Up Your Voltage" class is our most popular event. Come to Worcester, Massachusetts, and get trained in electric cars. https://t.co/CHFDTToPhf
Moving into the other half of our building after the body shop found a new home. ACDC now has room for expansion as the EV world is also growing rapidly. This space was our 6 bay Honda shop. It is only fitting that we first used it for Civic Hybrids.
Auden Neary is conducting our Tesla class at Up Your Voltage that just got over last Friday. Our newly expanded EV training facility is open while we finish the interior work.
At this moment, Deb and I are at a gala event in Providence, Rhode Island. We adopted William with the help of Adoption RI. This important work stated 40 years ago. If you know a foster child or teen that needs a family, take a serious look at you taking that on.
Aiden and I are in NYC today and tomorrow attending Media Days at the New York City Auto Show. ACDC is here to make sure we see and learn more about the new Electric Vehicles.
This is our second deep dive class into Tesla service and repair. Aiden Neary is the ACDC instructor. He is on the left in the blue ACDC shirt. Watch for a Tesla class coming to your area. More info at https://t.co/VXo9Xzp2sF.

Hear what Craig Van Batenburg has to say about buying a used EV, along with Consumer Reports and Plug in American. This is a very long webinar. Craig is the last speaker. Some good Q&A at the end.
Deb Van Batenburg is celebrating her birthday today. Van Batenburg's Garage, inc is also celebrating our birthday too! 45 years ago, long before I met Deborah, I rented a two bay shop and hung my sign out front. It was a cold Tuesday. Under $500 and a dream.
@jbendery I grew up in Utah in the 50's. All I knew about Indians were that young Indian girls cleaned my house on Saturday and the TV shows. Now in my 70s the horror of what my white brothers did and still do is a battle worth fighting. Justice. Truth. Reparations. Treaties honored.
This is Up Your Voltage 67. 8 students is a SOLD OUT class. 8 days with the weekend off. Look for more hands-on classes in 2023. This class includes our 3 books, on line training before and after, hotel, meals and a lot more.
The ACDC Tesla class was sold out. Aiden did a great job with our 8 students getting deep into the Model S and the 3. The Tesla scan tool is a bit wonky, but aftermarket shops can service and repair these EVs. Look for more Tesla classes from ACDC in the future.
In just a few days ACDC will launch our Telsa classes. We are starting with a 1 hour online class and right after that a 3 day hands on class at our training center in Worcester Mass. Aiden and myself have been gearing up for this since June. More info at https://t.co/VXo9XzpAid
The old hippie in me just had to stop as I'm driving back from Vermont today after talking to high school teachers about electric cars and what they need to teach in their school. The old air cooled VW beetle. Woodstock. Now I drive a hippie EV. Rock and Roll.
Saturday afternoon at my house. Just mowed the community garden down the street. Love that job. The Ryobi and the EGO push mowers are zero carbon. The motorcycle is a Zero. The Tesla only uses electricity. So far so good. In Massachusetts you can but solar. We do.
UP YOUR VOLTAGE #66 started today. Small class of 4 (6 is normal). What is cool is the average age is 22. Don't tell me young people are not interested in EVs. These bright technicians are soaking this up. It is also our first hands-on class that includes Tesla.
