No one, regardless of whether they’re conservative, progressive, Christian, Muslim, atheist, or anything else, should fear violence because they express their political or religious views. If politicians or activists begin to fear being targeted, democracy itself is significantly weakened.

It’s very important to allow the investigation to establish the motive, but if this was politically or ideologically motivated, it should concern every Australian 🇦🇺
