@mikejwhelan I'm so sorry to hear this Michael, but I'm sure she was comforted in the fact that you cared and loved her very much to the very end. My sincereest condolences.
@_samantha8 It's not just been shrapnel in every occasion, Shahed drones occasionally haven't been intercepted. Thankfully air defence is doing what it's built to do, but doesn't mean there is no risk, people need to be sensible.

Today marks exactly four years since Putin started his three-day push to take Kyiv. And that says a great deal about our resistance, about how Ukraine has fought all this time. Behind those words stand millions of our people, immense courage, incredibly hard work, endurance, and the long path Ukraine has been pursuing since February 24.
Looking back at the beginning of the invasion and reflecting on today, we have every right to say: we have defended our independence, we have not lost our statehood; Putin has not achieved his goals. He has not broken Ukrainians; he has not won this war. We have preserved Ukraine, and we will do everything to secure peace and justice. Glory to Ukraine!
One of the greatest so-called civilisational threats to the West is not the ‘Great Replacement Theory’ pushed by neo Nazis - it’s mendacious billionaires like Jeff Bezos and his tech bro mates.
Nigel Farage is currently in Dubai at the behest of an Indian Billionaire.
He is the MP for Clacton who claims to be an on the British workers side....
He's on his own side. That's it.
You have to be incredibly racist to target a 23-year-old medical student who is campaigning and leafleting in her free time to promote awareness for endometriosis, cervical cancer screening, and perimenopause.
This post from the @metpoliceuk is frankly embarrassing and I’m genuinely surprised it’s still up.
Let me break this down per the law:
In the UK, when people are asked to disclose religion, sexual orientation, or gender identity, there is always an opt-out. That safeguard exists to prevent prejudice and coercion.
Yet here we have the police publicly singling out a lawful, registered charitable organisation and treating membership as something that must be declared. Whatever anyone’s personal views are, that is not how fair policing works.
If the @metpoliceuk have concerns about the Freemasons, the answer is simple: investigate specific allegations against specific individuals. That is their job.
What you don’t do is scaremonger the public, blur lawful association with suspicion, and create division, especially when there are far more serious and pressing issues the police should be dealing with.
This approach doesn’t demonstrate strength or transparency. It raises serious questions about judgment, priorities, and competence.

Ever since I finished Question Time, Reform have massively been on the attack.
Including a rant from Richard Tice entirely designed to distract from Reform and Russia.
Everyone should know about Nathan Gill, the bribes from Russia and the link to Reform.
