Both pitches at Almond Park are private property & dog walking is not allowed.
The regular dog fouling is the worst it's ever been.
Pitches are used by boys and girls aged 5 through to 18 as well as adults.

To facilitate construction of a new fish pass at Mid Calder Weir
LOCATION: Almondell Country Park, Mid Calder, NCN75 cycle path from car park off Pumpherston Road, Mid Calder to Waste Water Treatment works.
START: 5th July 2021 at 00:00
FINISH: 29th October 2021

It seems our easiest access to Almondell will closed over the summer 😕 That's sad (and inconvenient) but we should still be able to get in from the north (either via the carpark or on foot/bike via the viaduct path) or via the east calder entrance
