Robbery w/ firearm at Shell gas station at 6:44 pm. Blonde white male in his 30s wearing Blk zip up hoodie, blk pants/gloves and a dark bandana over his face/mouth-carrying a grn shopping bag w/ burgundy over the shoulder gym bag. Last seen fleeing the scene southbound on foot

Serious collision on Highway 3 just East of the Rampart rest area. The Highway is closed both directions and alternate routes should be planned.

Early this morning Cbk RCMP were called to a theft of truck from the 300-Block of Mission Place.  Wht 2017 GMC Sierra with blk rims & a tonneau cover BC license NN6749. “If you see this vehicle we ask that you call the Cranbrook office at 250-489-3471,” says Cst Katie Forgeron.

Thanks to a tip from the general public the stolen vehicle has been recovered and one person is in custody for a series of property crime offences. Thanks to all who kept watch!
