I guess the strategies I’ve been working on in my classroom that I learned from my @ConsciousTching PD have been noticed because my student’s exact words today were “When did Ms. Crane go from a normal teacher to a cool kid teacher?” Didn’t know I wasn’t already cool. 🤪😂

One of my students in the visit with @rosettalee this morning: “Why do people criticize you for things you like? I just don’t get it. For example, I like books even that have girl characters. Books have no gender!” I feel you buddy. 💓

Today, my students were engaged. Like really engaged. They asked meaningful questions, encouraged each other, laughed, danced with me, sang with me, learned something new. Y’all, every single student in my class turned in every single assignment. I am a PROUD teacher today. 💗
