From #defcon32 special thx to:
@DefconRaffle love what you do every year
@beardbyte for the wrist candy
@CrashAndCompile for having us
@deviantollam for graciously + unexpectedly fulfilling our order of door straps
Mar for the perfect lost-water-bottle replacement
For those who wanted to take a look at the problems that were run during this year's Crash and Compile, here is the git repo for your enjoyment:

@v8rx7 That's the *eventual* plan, though (looks at DC30's problems still marked private) some times it takes us a bit to do that.
As a FYI, Crash and Compile happens every other year, as the same team also runs Dungeons @ Defcon which will be back for Defcon 33.
The final standings for Crash and Compile. Congratulations to haxx og spaghetti for their win at Crash and Compile.
All the teams were great. Thank you all for playing our game this year. #defcon32#defcon2024#Defcon
Of the 49 teams that registered we had sixteen teams complete all stages of the qualification round. Of those, the top nine teams plus control group will go on to the main contest. #defcon@defcon
@hypergraphing@LowLevelTweets Look you never know what shenanigans Team Distraction decides to come up with. I don't think that's in the cards for this year, and really Warp Core Breaches would be more our personal style, but lets just say I know a few guys.
(and now we miss the Star Trek Experience)
Who's excited for Crash and Compile at this year's #defcon32@defcon ?
The Crash and Compile qualification round will start Friday August 9th at 10am in the contest area and online at https://t.co/Ra4zEdBJHG
The trophy is a custom welded metal D20 adorned with various programming languages. The D20 is 12 gauge steel. Each edge being 4 inches in length, weighing in at ~1.8kg for our new "smaller more portable" version of our Crash and Compile trophy.
Qualifying teams will move on to the main contest event on the Defcon Contest stage. Planning to run from 16:00 to 19:00. The winning team will get one of the above Trophies.
We have something new planned for this year's Crash and Compile at #defcon Looking forward to seeing you all there.
Speaking of Defcon ... 12 days. Panic!
Congratulations once again to our winning teams:
1st place at 406 points - JAM
2nd place at 368 points - Pro Gamer Moves
3rd place at 258 points - Advanced Persistent Sweats
