Thank you @miladyinchrist for this amazing piece of art. The resurrection of Christ is the cornerstone to my faith ✝️
“He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”
Matthew 28:6
I agree with this 100%.
For every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction….
In fact, part of the exodus for the frogs is to figure out ways for our NFT community to connect in a more real way.
I also have an idea I will implement locally…. If it works, I work with the frogs to implement locally for themselves
Some notorious chain migrations from the past few years have given moves like these a weird feel to them.
This was not a decision Xeet took lightly.
In fact, we had conversations with 4-5 chains over the last few months.
Let's be honest, Xeet is not going to bring a ton of volume to any chain.
Our platform is not designed to create transactions.
It is a distribution tool with a roadmap that brings several different layers....none of which will be transaction heavy.
That is a long way of saying that our decision was not based on the usual factors that most other projects use to determine their moves.
Ultimately we chose MegaEth because culturally and philosophically it fit best with our long-term plans.
Xeet is migrating to a new chain.
We will announce which chain soon.
But first, we want to thank the team at Abstract.
We have a lot of appreciation for the way they welcomed us and supported us since we launched.
There are a lot of good people at Abstract who care deeply about what they are building and about the teams building alongside them.
In fact, the Xeet team has other projects on Abstract, and they are staying there.
As we look at where Xeet is going next, we have to make the decisions that best support the vision of the product.
We are grateful for the chapter we had on Abstract, and we have a lot of respect for the team and what they are building.
Now it is time for us to take the next step.
More information to come.
The timing on this announcement is not great.
Over the last few weeks I have seen plenty of posts from the armchair CEO's on how they believe Abstract should be run.
As usual, most of the complaining I have seen is unfounded and primarily driven by those who just want their airdrop to come faster.
I regret that Xeet moving will add fuel to the flames of this group.
The obvious question is... why is Xeet moving?
The short answer is that our move is more about our product's vision, and less about the chain(s) involved.
I will just leave it at that.
I would like to personally thank the Abstract team for their support.
They were the first team we pitched the concept of @xeetdotai to, and they have supported us from the beginning.
