@cullenoncurling @CBCOlympics It is very unfortunate that these clarification/interpretations are now just coming out. As a @GolfCanada Referee the rules of golf, although extensive, cover almost anything that can occur and have clarification/interpretations to aid in the application of the rules.

2 out of 3 is a pretty good year of curling, missed out as the Wednesday Champion Skip by one win. 😭

@Liams_Hockey @wog1819 @the_ovga Actually I think its the opposite, they havent considered the A-dividin, its driven by the public and semi-private courses not wanting to host because they lose green fee revenue.

Also I heard that new clubs have never hosted because they either move up or finish 3rd.

@Liams_Hockey @wog1819 @the_ovga Agree with you @Liams_Hockey the @the_ovga is trying to fix one issue (increasing cost to host club) and broke the event. Issue could have been solved by cost sharing.

Also I think they could have left A-Division alone it's a prestigious event and an honor to win and host.

@wog1819 They have all watched and taken @MattRobinsonPGA school of fast play. Which is fine for day to day, but not tournaments.

The marker has a responsibility, let alone the etiquette issues.
