My membership community, the Sweet Spot Kitchen (SSK), is open for registration! It's kind of like a course in heart-healthy eating, except that it has 3 courses, a ton of resources, and a community of nice people with similar heart concerns.

Can someone direct me to research on the psychological considerations/implications/impact associated with #semaglutide ? Psych impact once prescription is stopped? Looking for studies covering more than temporary reductions in emotional eating. Who's doing this work?
Thanks!
@whaaf@SweetSpotRD@CarolD_RD@TheGoodTimesMag They're so important! This is great work, including contextualizing (rather than sensationalizing) and pragmatic (rather than overwhelming)
PS no need to fast before cholesterol blood work!? Glorious news for hangry people like me!

@SweetSpotRD Cheryl I've known you for 15 years and you embody Brene Brown's strong back, soft front, wild heart. You are a consummate professional & advocate, and you use your voice wisely & fearlessly. This is a horrible & horrendous story. You, B & your girls are in my heart. Xo Col
So tired of hot takes about food that are just “just eat better & do better, it’s better for you” that then go on to demonize accessible affordable staples like yoghurt & bread.
You need to meet people where they are not bring them to some mythical rich fairy land. Come on.

Healthy eating needs to be practical, accessible, & enjoyable because it’s not nutrition until it’s eaten. Prep & cooking don’t need to be “clean” or perfect. Find your happy veggie place.
