@thenovelninja So much romance is "quiet, decent guy has his girl leave him for a loser that is 'artistic' or 'exciting'. And that's true love for women.
It's like 70 percent cheating stories.
@thenovelninja Romance is a popular genre for teens in Japan for men and women, and you have romance written directly to each gender. So I'll never buy men not enjoying romance.
But so much romance in the West plays on female preferred tropes that men often hate.
@Daishori055 The idea of playing for meta would make me quit the game. Boring. I do well enough. I play cms for free carrots in the final , not to win.
My biggest issue isn't cards or Umas tho, it's not playing enough to farm parents.
@vikku60879@natebonesjones This is insightful.
I think the good ending might have been "I wish She loved me" and nothing changed because there was already love there. Even if not romantic .
@JustBotBecky Funny enough , in her example... There's a popular idea I see online that if "digs dislike you, you're a bad person".
I don't think she'll like how that metaphor works out .
@RealPostFolder I'm not opposed to compromise. But it's her dad's birthday, not hers. Why even need him there?
She just hates he has feelings outside of her.
@AntiCommieBecca This is all a problem of delaying marriage. If intimacy slows down after a couple has been together a long time, it's both easier to deal with and easier to spice things up.
The good came with the bad. For better or worse.
@allie__voss Men need to recognize when they've already been broken up with. Modern women have a tendency to stay with you even after they wanted to break up, to secure the best exit. So we get shocked and then angry when they move on quickly. Not knowing they already moved on months ago.
