My late night rant-
I will never understand how you can just turn on your kid for being who THEY ARE. This is someone you have(should have) a bigger bond with than anyone else in this world. Who they are doesn’t change-you literally don’t like something ABOUT your kid and just throw them away-how does that make sense to ANY of you, how do you do it? I know it’s not easy for you to do, what in the world do you justify that with within yourself?! Bc others say they’re terrible people?! You KNOW your kid, you KNOW who they are, you KNOW they’re not bad people. When I came out as trans my mom was relieved in a sense, bc it finally explained so much about me. You should want your kid to be the best version of themSELVES. Why would you want anyone you love walking around miserable stuck in a box they can’t breathe in. You really want them to suffocate themselves for YOUR comfort of what others may say or think? Parents, start listening…do better
