I love to paint using bright colours but to help the colours of your flowers stand out, try making your leaves less vibrant. I chose a soft washy grey for these leaves to compliment these blue and purple anemones. A little Friday tip for today ✨

Some close ups and some extra details. I don’t often work this detailed on pieces but I should probably do a bit more of it. I find the more you practice it the better you become at working out where to put the darker areas and shadows. 😄
