After an incredible week in Paris, our journey continued in Montpellier for the Euro-Africa Biennale. The city hosted the second edition of this landmark event; a week dedicated to the movement of people, ideas, innovation, and culture.

This day took us into two extraordinary worlds of fashion — each iconic, each transformative in its own way. We began at the Fondation Azzedine Alaïa, then continued at the Rick Owens: Temple of Love exhibition at the Palais Galliera, musée. #CreationBotswana

We also had the opportunity to experience Saargale - a concept store founded by Senegalese designer Adama Paris. And then made our way back to École Duperré Paris for their fashion showcase. #CreationBotswana

One of the most unforgettable highlights was attending the MaXhosa Africa fashion show at Paris Fashion Week. And to see Botswana’s very own Marang Selolwane grace the runway, representing our country with such elegance and pride, made it even more special. #CreationBotswana

Our journey through Paris continued beginning at Little Africa Paris Village, our next stop was the legendary Saint Pierre fabric market, and then we ended the evening at the launch party of MansA: the Maison des Mondes Africains. #CreationBotswana

Premiere Classe: One of the world’s most prestigious trade fairs for fashion accessories and ready-to-wear. Held twice a year during PFW in the iconic Jardin des Tuileries, it attracts designers, buyers, stylists, and trendsetters from around the world. #CreationBotswana

Day three in Paris was a study of creativity, innovation, and inspiration. We began with a visit to the Virgil Abloh exhibition. We then continued to Galeries Lafayette, one of Paris’s most renowned department stores, guided by luxury expert Nelly Wandji.

If we could re-live that night, we would. This video captures the atmosphere of our pop-up market and the joy of seeing Botswana design warmly received.
