The lies have gone on long enough. It stops now!!!
For far too long, Pastor E.A. Adeboye and The Redeemed Christian Church of God have been subjected to false narratives, deliberate misrepresentations, and misleading commentaries driven by personal interests and agenda setting.
I see a lot of people even fellow christians saying things like “Adeboye Should come out and protest”. Protest how and why ?…his protest would make the soldiers get more motivation or what exactly would his protest yield ?. AT 84 year old he should come out and do what exactly.
First I need to state it once again that @PastorEAAdeboye never protested under President Jonathan, he came out on the 2nd of February 2020, obeying the directive of PFN and CAN for a National Prayer walk which other churches observed as well. That false narrative of him protesting under Jonathan is pathetic because some of us walked with him on the Streets of Ebute Meta just before the lockdown.
I’ve been seeing a false narrative going around of people saying @PastorEAAdeboye cancelled a protest, that is also false. PFN called for a 3 day prayer and rally, which @PastorEAAdeboye directed the Admin department of the church to follow as that was the directive of PFN. but when PFN said people should not protest in different locations but gather for prayers at state secretariats and hold the prayers in their churches, the RCCG Admin also released another circular updating members about the new developments as stated by PFN, so why the evil narrative that Adeboye called off the protest ?
We need to understand that the enemies have us exactly where they want us to be which is for us to be divided and insult those who have been appointed as Gatekeepers.
These evil doers carry out their evil, chanting praises to their god and even observe religious holidays and all, but we are not directing our anger to their Imams and their leaders. If their religion is truly a religion of peace, their leaders must take responsibility, start speaking up, lead protests because these evil people are also giving their religion a bad name.
The Government is responsible for security of lives and property not Pastor E.A. Adeboye !
This will irritate your religious sensibilities but it is the truth. If prayers could fix Nigeria, we would have been the greatest nation in the world. The more we’ve prayed, the worse things have gotten.
This is because miracles don’t fix nations, righteous systems do.
Prayer is easy. Righteousness is where the work is. And it is righteousness that exalts a nation, not prayers. The righteousness mentioned in Proverbs 14:34 is צְדָקָ֥ה Tzedakah. It means a deep commitment to fairness, treating people right and justice. It speaks to a system that ensures things are done right.
We love to pray but not turn from our wicked ways. The equation MUST be complete. 2Chronicles 7:14
Righteous action is what validates our prayers. Prayers CANNOT fix Nigeria.
Demand a better leadership, protest for justice, fix the right people into systems. Repentance is what we need! A change of orientation from selfishness and greed!
I remember when Fmr. Pres. Goodluck Johnathan visited Maiduguri During the intensity of Boko Haram... To motivate the military & see how they're doing.
But today... Has the president ever gone to the field to give morale to his Armed Forces?
First of all, Thank you Jesus! In chasing perfection, I almost lost sight of what this means for me. It’s my first ever comic book and I’m so proud of myself! I’m grateful to everyone who supported and made this possible. God bless everyone who has ordered so far. Link is in my bio if you’ll like to grab a copy😌
Underrated life hacks:
- pray first thing every morning, last thing every night
- always keep an open notebook and pen within sight
- halve the amount time you allot yourself to read books & do your work
- extend your vision out by 5-10 years, then reverse engineer to present
- every time you catch yourself worrying, immediately surrender it to God
- never stop learning, ever, no matter what
- recognize no one is stopping you more than yourself
The brain is designed to learn through constant repetition and active, hands-on involvement. Through such practice and persistence, any skill can be mastered.
Hello @LCFC
I’m Olaogun, a winger also played as a striker from Nigeria. I’ve spent the last 3 years training daily to get one shot at professional football.
I’m not asking for a contract. I’m asking for 7 days on trial to show you what I can do. If I’m not good enough, I’ll walk away with no hard feelings.
I’m fast, direct, and I work harder than anyone on the pitch.
My highlights are here: https://t.co/nD68FCLsMn
Thanks,

Your portfolio has one job.
Make someone who's never met you feel like they already know exactly what kind of designer you are.
These things will help:
1. Show the work. Immediately.
I cannot tell you how many beautiful portfolios I clicked off of because I couldn't find the work. Stunning animations, incredible typography, clever interactions nut no work anywhere to found quickly. I'm hiring a designer. Show me what you design! If I have to scroll more than a few seconds to find work, I'm gone. Those hiring have thousands of these to get through. They'll appreciate the time you save them by showing your work in a respectful time.
2. Don't hide work behind rollovers.
I know it looks cool. But I'm in a hurry. If your work is hidden, I'm not finding it.
3. Three projects is not a portfolio. It's a teaser.
If you only have 3-4 projects showing, I immediately wonder what have you been doing? Where are the side projects? The experiments? The fun stuff you made at 2am just because you wanted to? Show more work! Not everything has to be a polished case study (most shouldn't tbh because no one is reading it). Throw in the logo you made for fun. The brand concept nobody hired you for. The UI exploration you did on a weekend. That's the stuff that tells me who you really are as a designer.
4. Stop repeating your name.
I clicked on your link. I know your name. The first thing I need to see is your work, not your name three times.
5. Don't make me figure out how to use your site.
If your portfolio requires instructions, it's too complicated. I don't have time. Neither does the person hiring you. Do you read instructions? Probably not either.
6. The about me section matters more than you think.
The portfolios that stopped me all had one thing in common. I felt like I knew the person. Their pets. Their hobbies. Their personality. Design is a team sport. I'm not just hiring your work. I'm hiring YOU. If it came down to two equally talented designers where one surfed and the other displayed no outside hobbies, I'm going with the person I can connect more with, the surfer since we'll have things to talk about besides work. Use this to your advantage. It's the secret tip most most.
*The portfolios that make my final list all do this:
Work visible immediately. Clear about what they do. Personality came through. Something unique that made me stop and explore.
*The ones that don't make it:
Beautiful design. No work. Or work hidden so much I gave up finding it.
Important note: With all that said, the #1 thing that gets people hired: relationships.
I'm not gonna lie. The people I already know online get looked at first. Every time. That's not fair, but it's real.
Make relationships.
Be a kind person.
Get the work.
