We are Breathe Creative. We feel that there needs to be a wider recognition of the impact and the benefits the arts can bring to mental and physical wellbeing and an understanding of how the arts can help to address challenges in Health and Social Care. #Wellbeing#arts#Training
@TNLComFundWales @Arts_Wales_@VOGCouncil Future funding and a long term approach is fundamental in projects such as this. It is proven that continued support can lead to new opportunities for members further down the road.
The idea of the sessions was to simply create a warm therapeutic space for people to be able to share their thoughts and feelings safely in a supportive environment. #MentalHealth#ArtsforWellbeing @TNLComFundWales @Arts_Wales_

Music would always be central, a tool to allow collaborative communication, build connections and to provide an alternative way to express emotions rather than simply talking. Thanks to funding from @TNLComFundWales @Arts_Wales_ and @VOGCouncil
At Breathe Creative Anadl we offer opportunities for people to make connections to others through creativity, arts and nature. Our work is therapeutic and person-centred. We bring people together to improve their mental and physical health and wellbeing. #WorldMentalHeathDay
#WorldMentalHealthDay2024 is an international day which aims to encourage global mental health education, to increase awareness and to promote advocacy against social stigma. Today is a good reminder of how important connections are to our health and wellbeing.
We offer weekly creative arts sessions with patients on the ward, offering a variety of grounding and mindfulness techniques to help participants relax, find their creative flow and shift their focus away from their illness towards their strengths and the things which they enjoy.
For #WorldMentalHealthDay we celebrate our new project which is offering creativity for wellbeing activities for cancer patients in Cardiff. Supported by @Arts_Wales_ and @TNLComFundWales @VelindreCC
